The idea wonder fur

Anyone who values truly sustainable clothing these days will look closely when choosing a fashion label. Where does the processed material come from? Under what conditions and by whom are the garments produced? Every single factor is close to our hearts and guides the design of every Wunderfell
coat. The idea of sustainability means for us to produce durable, high quality handcrafted and morally sound jackets and coats - from the first sketch to the finished model.

High quality skins from the foodgain

We make no compromises when selecting the skins for our jackets and coats. Only the choicest skins from free-ranging lambs are found on our models. The quality of each coat is directly related to how the animals were kept, because only a healthy animal has a beautiful coat. Nevertheless, no two coats are alike and there can be variations in color, length and density. However, this is precisely the beauty of it and makes each of our Wunderfell designs unique! By the way, we only use lambskins that are a by-product of local food production. Thus, the raw material finds a sustainable use and is not wasted.
Breeding fur from mink, tanuki or fox, on the other hand, is an absolute taboo and is not processed in any of our coats or jackets! Each Wunderfell design thus complies with our ethical values and can be worn with a clear conscience.

Refined & timeless design

We have made it our goal to design lambskin jackets for eternity that are both classic and casual. Therefore, every Wunderfell coat goes through a loving and thoughtful design process down to the smallest detail. Whether it's a pithy aviator jacket with practical features for outdoor adventures or a super soft and classy coat for a stylish appearance, all models are extremely lovingly and cleverly designed.
Many of our models are reversible, which adds value because, depending on which side is worn on the outside, they combine leather and fur coats in a two-in-one design. Wunderfell stands for real investment pieces, as they are independent of fast-moving trends and are designed according to the slow fashion principle.
With this, we consciously speak out against the modern throwaway society and instead urge our customers to purchase our high-quality fur jackets, vests and coats. Our Shearling models are not only characterized by a qualitatively impeccable processing, high wearing comfort and an almost unlimited durability, but can be combined again and again thanks to their timeless look. With Wunderfell you bet on true evergreens in your wardrobe!

Environmentally friendly processing

In line with our philosophy of sustainability, we also focus on environmentally friendly processing in the production of our lambskin coats. In the tanning of our skins, we avoid as far as possible environmentally incompatible substances such as PCP, formaldehyde or azo dyes. In addition, our partner companies use technically high-quality water filtration systems. A tannery in Spain is currently developing a process in which only natural tanning agents and dyes can be used. Our declared goal is not only to ensure the quality of our fur coats, but also to protect both the environment and people during the manufacturing process.

Fair productionprocesses

The beautiful, soft and light quality of our skins comes from European factories, the coats are made up in Istanbul. Since close cooperation with our local partners is important to us, we deliberately distance ourselves from production in low-wage countries and advocate fair working conditions with the manufacturers. We maintain long-term, personal relationships with our production partners, which are based on proximity and trust and reflect Wunderfell values.

Men's Body Measurement Chart for Jackets and Coats

The table refers to your body measurements, not to the measurements of the respective item!

Example: If your chest measurement is 102 cm, then the models in size M will fit you.

This is how you measure correctly:

Place the tape measure on the largest circumference, tightening the tape just enough so that it does not constrict.

A

Bust

Place the tape measure on the strongest part of the chest at the front, pass it under the arms, slightly rising at the back.

B

Waistband

Measure at the narrowest part of the torso. This is where the waist band is fixed.

Body dimension table

The table refers to your body measurements, not to the measurements of the respective item! Please put the tape measure on as shown below, it should be tight but not constricting.

The actual measurements of the jackets and coats are always at least 2 cm wider than the maximum values given in the body measurement table for a slim fit.
Wide models such as capes can also turn out considerably larger than the maximum value given in the body measurements table.

Example: If your chest measurement is 97 cm, then the models in size M will fit you.
